Born in Oderzo in Italy’s Veneto region, Victor and his family moved to the French Alps in 1954. He became a ski instructor in 1975 after years working in the ski patrol at Les Arcs and in the Pyrenees. In 1977 he joined the Club Med as a water and snow ski instructor. He moved to London in 1985 and co-founded the London Docklands Water Ski Club in the Royal Docks.

Inspired by a Peter Eugene Ball exhibition at Chichester Cathedral, he began wood carving, training at City Lit and the Masbro Centre. He now works from his garden studio with wood and resin to create figurative and abstract pieces.

He has participated in the Artists at Home weekend for four consecutive years and has exhibited twice alongside Rennie Pilgrem at the Hepsibah Gallery in Hammersmith.
